I haven’t really found the right word to describe how I’ve been feeling lately with the weight of everything going on – ‘disoriented’ feels like part of it. But tuck classes always help me channel some of the rage into making myself stronger, which feels like an important part of fighting back. I look forward to taking classes every day because I know you and other instructors will be holding space – space for me to feel my feelings, to challenge myself, to get stronger, to take a break, or whatever it is I need that day. In a world that feels disorienting, that space helps me take a few minutes to focus on myself, to get reoriented, and build the strength to keep going. 💛
