Vinyasa Yoga Flow
Vinyasa Flow is a challenging yet relaxing vinyasa yoga class that moves through poses following the pace of your own breath. The class is designed for all levels with modifications offered to take the class at your own level and ability on any given day. The sequence of each class will build towards a challenging peak pose(s) to accommodate both the beginner and advanced practitioner. Class is sixty minutes long.
Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that uses passive poses held for longer periods of time to enhance and renew the body’s vital energy, prevent joint immobility, and nourish the body at the cellular level. Yin aids with digestion, muscle repair, stress relief and flexibility. This is the perfect complementary practice for those who are overworked and overstressed, or for those who workout strenuously. It is also great for anyone recovering from injury or illness and pre or post-natal.
Yoga Basics is an introductory class held every Sunday. This is the perfect class for new yogis, as we will help you establish the basics of a strong foundational practice.
Barre is a demanding strength and toning workout that uses high repetition movements and weighted isometric contractions set to music to tone and sculpt your body. Beginners should not be intimidated, but you will experience soreness the next day! Experienced practitioners are welcome to increase the intensity of their experience with heavier weights and modifications.
This class will get your heart pumping and burn a ton of calories. Not your typical barre class, this class will alternate between short intervals of high-intensity cardio moves and our more traditional barre exercises. At least three prior barre classes are recommended, although modifications will be offered.
Barre Bounce is tuck’s new cardio-focused barre class! This class uses individual rebounders with attached ballet barres. Don’t know what a rebounder is? Think mini trampoline from the 80s. The rebounders give you a low-impact workout that will give your immune system a boost and detoxify your whole body (not to mention help increase your cardiovascular endurance).
In Barre Bounce, we will alternate between short cardio bursts on the rebounders and more traditional barre exercises, giving you that good barre burn! Modifications will be offered for all levels, so don’t be intimidated! We will get through this together.
Core Yoga Flow
Core Yoga Flow will restore and strengthen all muscles in the core. The class is perfect for all levels and will consist of breath work to engage deep abdominal muscles, yoga poses linked to breath which activate and condition the core, as well as deep stretching and strengthening of the muscles that work closely together with the core to achieve maximal benefit.
Ballet Barre is a ballet-inspired workout that tones the legs, arms and core and is inspired by traditional ballet exercises. Our classes focus on alignment, mindfulness and balance, only pushing our clients within safe limits. The classes contain short intervals of intense isometric movements interspersed with stretching sequenced with breath, creating an effective, low-impact workout that maximizes results!
If you have never taken yoga we recommend taking a few classes before taking Buti Yoga. Buti Yoga is a movement practice that fuses power yoga, cardio infused dance, plyometrics & deep abdominal training into a high-intensity workout combined with upbeat music that transforms the body from the inside out. The word “buti” means “to cure something hidden below the surface.” Challenge yourself to free your mind and your hips during this FUN and challenging sweat fest!
Buti DEEP is a low-impact, restorative movement practice that utilizes deep core work and self-touch to connect mind to muscle. DEEP focuses on micro-movements and spirals to connect the brain to innervated muscle, restructure the core, and release muscles during deep restorative asanas.
Deep Stretch (Recovery)
Deep Stretch is a 45-minute gentle stretch + yin yoga class consisting of postures on the floor that are held for an extended period of time. Expect deep hip, back and leg openings with longer holds to increase flexibility and calm the mind. Foam rolling may be incorporated early in the class to aid in recovery.
Break A Sweat Flow
In this faster-paced vinyasa class, you will connect with your breath and move through a vigorous and mindful flow. As always, listen to your body and move at the pace that feels good for you! Perfect for those looking for more fitness-based yoga!
YIN-yasa is a combination of vinyasa flow and yin yoga. The first portion of class utilizes the heat of a gentle vinyasa flow and is then followed with the cooling stillness of yin postures to achieve balance. Yin poses are passive and held for longer periods of time to target joints, connective tissue and fascia. Yin poses are floor based and supported with props to maximize results with little effort! Open to all levels!
Be Present: 30-Minute Meditation
This beginner-friendly class provides simple and effective breath and meditation exercises to apply in our daily lives to release mental, emotional and physical tension. We will begin with some light stretching and body work and then practice ways of working with the breath and a variety of styles of meditation to enhance our capacity to be healthy, calm, aware and fully present.
