Feel Good Flow
Feel Good Flow is tuck’s take on a standard vinyasa class. Moving at the pace of your own breath, we move through a thoughtful, alignment-focused flow. Don’t expect tons of chaturangas though – each class is different and will focus on helping clients advance their practices with intention and without ego. While you will move at the pace of your own breath, you won’t get lost in the shuffle at Tuck. We focus on helping students build sustainable practices so we often break down poses that are confusing. Open to all levels.
Our classic yoga class that is akin to that feeling of a Friday night on the couch. Untuck is designed to help you de-stress, recover and relax. Tailored to the individuals in class, untuck incorporates Yin and Restorative poses intended to address stiffness, range of motion, anxiety and general muscle aches and tightness. This class may incorporate gentle flow as necessary. Open to all levels.
Yoga Basics & Beyond
Yoga Basics is our introductory yoga class. This is the perfect class for new yogis, as we will help you establish the basics of a strong foundational practice. Open to all levels.
Barre is a demanding strength and toning workout that uses high repetition movements and weighted isometric contractions set to music to tone and sculpt your body. Beginners should not be intimidated, but you will experience soreness the next day! Experienced practitioners are welcome to increase the intensity of their experience with heavier weights and modifications.
This class will get your heart pumping and burn a ton of calories. Not your typical barre class, this class will alternate between short intervals of high-intensity moves and our more traditional barre exercises. At least five prior barre classes at tuck are recommended, although modifications will be offered.
Barre Bounce is tuck’s cardio-focused barre class! This class uses individual rebounders with attached ballet barres. Don’t know what a rebounder is? Think mini trampoline from the 80s. The rebounders give you a low-impact workout that will give your immune system a boost and detoxify your whole body (not to mention help increase your cardiovascular endurance).
In Barre Bounce, we will alternate between short cardio bursts on the rebounders and more traditional barre exercises, giving you that good barre burn! Modifications will be offered for all levels, so don’t be intimidated! We will get through this together.
Free Movement Flow Yoga
Free Movement Flow is a movement practice which fuses dynamic yoga flow, intuitive dance movement and toning exercises into a fun, high-intensity yoga class. Set to upbeat music, this class is designed for students to experience freedom of movement in the body. Throughout class, you will feel how the asanas and sequences build on each other. Get ready to build strength within the asanas, freeing your mind and transforming the body from the inside out.
Gravity Method (Restorative Yoga)
The Gravity Method is a 45-minute restorative yoga class using weighted blanket therapy to enhance the poses and to aid in calming the mind. Expect deep hip, back and leg openings with longer holds to increase flexibility. Weighted blankets ground the body, relax the nervous system and release serotonin. This class is perfect for all levels and is great for those who have anxiety or insomnia.
