Ok – BIG NEWS. I took this class today while on vacation so I can confirm some stuff. It’s very travel friendly – did it on my porch. Had a huge audience, slightly awkward. Loved the sequence (wide 2 to curtsy hinge to passe with fun arm) omg so clever and fun and I worked up quite a sweat. Didn’t love the end thigh burn moment – SO long – because you told fun beyonce/jay z story during it. Glad you had a free day when you filmed, sad you had to work so much for 3 weeks. Glad you are out of your mid-life crisis, sad I’m not there to celebrate with margarita. Glad because we will celebrate soon! xoxo Annie

There was a crazy thunderstorm Monday night- very windy, tree branches blowing everywhere, Bodie drooling and shaking. After all calmed down Tuesday morning, I went into the backyard to pick up plastic debris that had flown into our hydrangea trees (separately, isn’t it sad that we have so much plastic litter that you find it in trees after a storm? Ugh). Anyway, I’m picking up bits of trash and I happened to look down at the water in the deep end of the pool. I see something wiggling just under the stone coping. I’m a tiny bit apprehensive because wiggle could mean snake and me no likey. But as I move closer, I discover the wiggle is a mouse tail…attached to a tiny mouse! He has his head above water and he’s paddling the same way Chloe does for the ball. He has nowhere to go and no way to pull himself out of the deep end! I spring into action (I was BORN for this moment) – grab the skimmer and Ratatouille (sp?) quickly hops right on. I laid the skimmer down and he doesn’t come out. My heart is literally beating out of my chest. Is he in shock? Did he die from exhaustion? As I’m dress rehearsing the tragic life of Ratatouille, I see his little body wiggle out of the net and run straight for the evergreen bush. He lives! Ratatouille made it! The world is a-ok again!
In that moment, I fulfilled my life’s purpose. I saved him. I am whole.
