Steady your mind and calm your nervous system with a simple Resonance Breathing, aka Counted Breathing, aka Box Breathing practice. Then transition to a lovingkindness meditation where we work to open our hearts to compassion’s grace. Breathwork and meditation can be simple, accessible, and you can feel their tremendous benefits whenever you’re able to give them to yourself.
Optional: Come as you are! No yoga clothes necessary. Sit on the floor, a cushion, or a chair for breathwork. For meditation you can remain seated or lie down. It can be nice to have a blanket over your lap but not necessary.
