Amy discovered yoga during a particularly stressful period in her life and immediately realized it was a practice she never wanted to live without. After earning her 200 RYT she decided to leave her job in Interior Architecture and Design and follow her heart to teach yoga full time. Through teaching Amy strives to create an environment where students can explore the profound positive effects a yoga practice can create in every aspect of their lives. She enjoys challenging her students, all with a playful sense of humor. By breaking down the foundation of more complex poses, her goal is to create an environment where students feel strong, empowered and capable in their own practices and bodies. In Amy’s classes you can expect to flow, sweat, be challenged, and maybe even try a new arm balance or two!
