Sara is a Philly-bred yoga teacher and writer. She discovered her love of the practice after realizing that “stretching” was key to recovering after long shifts in restaurants. After years of home practice, she enrolled in Dhyana Yoga’s yoga teacher training program where she focused on yogic philosophy, ashtanga vinyasa, and pranayama practices. She believe in the mental health benefits of yoga as much as the physical–her goal in teaching is to be gentle, grounded, and accessible to those who have experienced trauma. She believes that teaching, studying, and practicing yoga is one of the most rewarding exercises in both gratitude and connection. Catch her biking around the city or laying in a park on her mat with a book.
