Katie tried yoga for the first time in high school, but it wasn’t until living in the buzz of NYC that she really developed a practice. Aside from gaining flexibility, the mental benefits are what kept her coming back to her mat. You can expect a strong (chatarunga friendly!) flow in her vinyasa classes, with as much mindfulness and focus on breath that you’ll find in her gentle classes. Katie completed her 200 hr teacher training through Dhyana Yoga in July of 2015 and has been joyfully sharing this life-changing practice ever since. When Katie isn’t teaching, you can find her on her mat or moving her body on a dance floor!
